- 1 A tak, bratří moji, radujte se v Pánu. Psáti vám stále totéž mně není zatěžko a vám to bude oporou.
- 2 Dejte si pozor na ty psy, dejte si pozor na ty špatné dělníky, dejte si pozor na tu ‚rozřízku‘!
- 3 Neboť pravá obřízka jsme my, kteří duchem sloužíme Bohu, chlubíme se Kristem Ježíšem a nedáme na vnější věci -
- 4 ačkoli já bych měl proč na ně spoléhat. Zdá-li se někomu jinému, že může spoléhat na vnější věci, já tím víc:
- 5 obřezán osmého dne, z rodu izraelského, z pokolení Benjamínova, Hebrej z Hebrejů; jde-li o zákon - farizeus;
- 6 jde-li o horlivost - pronásledovatel církve; jde-li o spravedlnost podle zákona, byl jsem bez úhony.
- 7 Ale cokoliv mi bylo ziskem, to jsem pro Krista odepsal jako ztrátu.
- 8 A vůbec všecko pokládám za ztrátu, neboť to, že jsem poznal Ježíše, svého Pána, je mi nade všecko. Pro něho jsem všecko ostatní odepsal a pokládám to za nic,
- 9 abych získal Krista a nalezen byl v něm nikoli s vlastní spravedlností, která je ze zákona, ale s tou, která je z víry v Krista - spravedlností z Boha založenou na víře,
- 10 abych poznal jej a moc jeho vzkříšení i účast na jeho utrpení. Beru na sebe podobu jeho smrti,
- 11 abych tak dosáhl zmrtvýchvstání.
- 12 Nemyslím, že bych již byl u cíle anebo již dosáhl dokonalosti; běžím však, abych se jí zmocnil, protože mne se zmocnil Kristus Ježíš.
- 13 Bratří, já nemám za to, že jsem již u cíle; jen to mohu říci: zapomínaje na to, co je za mnou, upřen k tomu, co je přede mnou,
- 14 běžím k cíli, abych získal nebeskou cenu, jíž je Boží povolání v Kristu Ježíši.
- 15 Kdo je dokonalý, ať smýšlí jako my; a jestliže v něčem smýšlíte jinak, i to vám Bůh objasní.
- 16 Jen k čemu jsme již dospěli, toho se držme.
- 17 Bratří, napodobujte mne. Hleďte na ty, kdo žijí podle našeho příkladu.
- 18 Neboť mnozí, o nichž jsem vám často říkal a nyní to s pláčem opakuji, žijí jako nepřátelé Kristova kříže;
- 19 jejich koncem je zahynutí, jejich bohem břicho a jejich chloubou to, zač by se měli stydět, neboť smýšlejí přízemně.
- 20 My však máme občanství v nebesích, odkud očekáváme i Spasitele, Pána Ježíše Krista.
- 21 On promění tělo naší poníženosti v podobu těla své slávy silou, kterou je mocen všecko si podmanit.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
