詩篇 40
- 1 (大衛的 詩,交與伶長。)我曾耐性 等候 耶和華; 他垂聽 我的呼求。
- 2 他從禍 坑裡,從淤 泥中,把我拉上來,使我的腳 立 在 磐石上,使我腳步 穩當。
- 3 他使 我口 唱新 歌,就是讚美我們 神的話。許多人 必看見 而懼怕,並要倚靠 耶和華。
- 4 那 倚靠 耶和華、不 理會 狂傲 和偏向 虛假之輩的,這人 便為有福!
- 5 耶和華─我的 神啊,你 所行的 奇事,並你向我們 所懷的意念 甚多,不能 向你 陳明。若要陳明,其事不可勝 數。
- 6 祭物 和禮物,你不 喜悅;你已經開通 我的 耳朵。燔祭 和贖罪祭 非 你所要。
- 7 那時 我說:看哪,我來了!我的事 在經 卷上 已經記載了。
- 8 我的 神啊,我樂意 照你的旨意 行;你的律法 在我心 裡。
- 9 我在大 會中 宣傳 公義的佳音; 我必不 止住 我的嘴唇。耶和華啊,這是你 所知道的。
- 10 我未 曾把你的公義 藏 在心 裡;我已陳明 你的信實 和你的救恩;我在大 會中 未 曾隱瞞 你的慈愛 和誠實。
- 11 耶和華啊,求你 不要 向我 止住 你的慈悲!願你的慈愛 和誠實 常常 保佑我!
- 12 因 有 無 數 的禍患 圍困 我,我的罪孽 追上了我,使我不 能 昂首;這罪孽比我的頭 髮 還多,我就心 寒膽戰。
- 13 耶和華啊,求你開恩 搭救我!耶和華啊,求你速速 幫助我!
- 14 願那些尋找我、要滅 我命的,一同 抱愧 蒙羞!願那些喜悅 我受害的,退 後 受辱!
- 15 願那些對我 說 阿哈、阿哈的,因 羞愧 而敗亡!
- 16 願一切 尋求你的,因你 高興 歡喜!願那些喜愛 你救恩的,常 說:當尊耶和華 為大!
- 17 但我 是困苦 窮乏的,主 仍顧念 我;你 是幫助我的,搭救我的。 神啊,求你不要 耽延!

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
