Ψαλμοί 86
- 1 «Προσευχή του Δαβίδ.» Κλίνον, Κύριε, το ωτίον σου· επάκουσόν μου, διότι πτωχός και πένης είμαι εγώ.
- 2 Φύλαξον την ψυχήν μου, διότι είμαι όσιος· συ, Θεέ μου, σώσον τον δούλον σου τον ελπίζοντα επί σε.
- 3 Ελέησόν με, Κύριε, διότι προς σε κράζω όλην την ημέραν.
- 4 Εύφρανον την ψυχήν του δούλου σου, διότι προς σε, Κύριε, υψόνω την ψυχήν μου.
- 5 Διότι συ, Κύριε, είσαι αγαθός και εύσπλαγχνος και πολυέλεος εις πάντας τους επικαλουμένους σε.
- 6 Ακροάσθητι, Κύριε, της προσευχής μου και πρόσεξον εις την φωνήν των δεήσεών μου.
- 7 Εν ημέρα θλίψεώς μου θέλω σε επικαλείσθαι, διότι θέλεις μου εισακούει.
- 8 Δεν είναι όμοιός σου μεταξύ των θεών, Κύριε· ουδέ έργα όμοια των έργων σου.
- 9 Πάντα τα έθνη, τα οποία έκαμες, θέλουσιν ελθεί και προσκυνήσει ενώπιόν σου, Κύριε, και θέλουσι δοξάσει το όνομά σου·
- 10 διότι μέγας είσαι και κάμνεις θαυμάσια· συ είσαι Θεός μόνος.
- 11 Δίδαξόν με, Κύριε, την οδόν σου, και θέλω περιπατεί εν τη αληθεία σου· προσήλονε την καρδίαν μου εις τον φόβον του ονόματός σου.
- 12 Θέλω σε αινεί, Κύριε ο Θεός μου, εν όλη τη καρδία μου και θέλω δοξάζει το όνομά σου εις τον αιώνα·
- 13 διότι μέγα επ' εμέ το έλεός σου· και ηλευθέρωσας την ψυχήν μου εξ άδου κατωτάτου.
- 14 Θεέ, οι υπερήφανοι εσηκώθησαν κατ' εμού, και αι συνάξεις των βιαστών εζήτησαν την ψυχήν μου· και δεν σε έθεσαν ενώπιόν αυτών.
- 15 Αλλά συ, Κύριε, είσαι Θεός οικτίρμων και ελεήμων, μακρόθυμος και πολυέλεος και αληθινός.
- 16 Επίβλεψον επ' εμέ και ελέησόν με· δος την δύναμίν σου εις τον δούλον σου και σώσον τον υιόν της δούλης σου.
- 17 Κάμε εις εμέ σημείον εις αγαθόν, διά να ίδωσιν οι μισούντές με και να αισχυνθώσι· διότι συ, Κύριε, με εβοήθησας και με παρηγόρησας.

Basic Hash Usage Explained
At getBible, we've established a robust system to keep our API synchronized with the Crosswire project's modules. Let me explain how this integration works in simple terms.
We source our Bible text directly from the Crosswire modules. To monitor any updates, we generate "hash values" for each chapter, book, and translation. These hash values serve as unique identifiers that change only when the underlying content changes, thereby ensuring a tight integration between getBible and the Crosswire modules.
Every month, an automated process runs for approximately three hours. During this window, we fetch the latest Bible text from the Crosswire modules. Subsequently, we compare the new hash values and the text with the previous ones. Any detected changes trigger updates to both our official getBible hash repository and the Bible API for all affected translations. This system has been operating seamlessly for several years.
Once the updates are complete, any application utilizing our Bible API should monitor the hash values at the chapter, book, or translation level. Spotting a change in these values indicates that they should update their respective systems.
Hash values can change due to various reasons, including textual corrections like adding omitted verses, rectifying spelling errors, or addressing any discrepancies flagged by the publishers maintaining the modules at Crosswire.
The Crosswire initiative, also known as the SWORD Project, is the "source of truth" for getBible. Any modifications in the Crosswire modules get reflected in our API within days, ensuring our users access the most precise and current Bible text. We pledge to uphold this standard as long as getBible exists and our build scripts remain operational.
